ChipChats Woodcarving Magazine ChipChats Woodcarving Magazine is a delightful publication that every carver or wood-be carver should subscribe to. It is called Chip-Chats. Included with the many fascinating articles and pages of inspiring pictures from prize winning pieces at various woo carving shows. There are also "how-to" instructions for some carving projects. National Wood Carvers Association has been going since 1953! It is very reasonably priced and in spite of the title of the organization it appears that the magazine is international certainly including Canada and the U.K. I have sent them a couple of articles, this one deals with carved wood-framed mirrors but also relief carving and one about madrone lumber.
