Art Furnishings Show - Pasadena Convention Center

The Art Furnishings Show - Pasadena Convention Center was another spectacular wood and art furnishings show that offered very encouraging results when I first started furniture
making as a home business.
The Pasadena Convention Center is huge yet surprisingly there were just a dozen or so woodworkers out of over one hundred exhibitors. This was of course, very good for me!
I both like and dislike the shows. They are a great deal of work and very tiring but the results can be spectacular. These shows are essential for any beginning art or crafts business. The exposure
of one's artwork in as many venues as possible is a top priority.
For me, I drove all the way from Southern Oregon to Southern California with a truck full of with examples of my furniture as well as a display with pictures and sop-lighting. The consolation was
that many other artists at the show had traveled from even further.
After the long trip, the three long days on the floor and the return trip everyone says." never again" - until the next year
