Custom Made Dining Tables
The design scope is tremendous in the field of chair making but their is nothing like a custom designed set where the table and the chairs have been carefully designed and
made so that they belong as an ensemble.
The custom designed chairs show in the picture about have just been completed in my shop and are ready to be lacquered and upholstered. The table that they are designed to go with is the Tahoe
Table.
Sometimes the design process is easily completed with a few emails and perhaps a phone call. In this case, because Lake Tahoe is not so very far from where my wife and I live in Southern Oregon, we
took a drive down there.
I packed half a dozen chair examples into my van as well as some wood samples and a camera. In situ it was soon easy to determine the best choice of woods and fabrics as well as the table size and
shape.
The result: The Tahoe Table and eight tall back in-layed chairs!
