Los Angeles Times - Art Furnishings Show - Santa Monica

The Art Furnishings Show was held in both Pasadena and Santa Monica California. I participated in both shows.

I find the shows both extremely exhausting and very worthwhile. It was at the Santa Monica Show in California that I was first to build a long dining table complete with ten chairs with arms.

I met a very nice couple there and spent some time discussing furniture possibilities. They were particularly interesting in the small leaf-shaped coffee table that I had on display

As we talked and explored possibilities we narrowed down some of the options eventually choosing a long dining table of maple made with a sculptural center beneath the glass and ten maple chairs.
I thoroughly enjoyed making the Santa Monica Table ensemble that then lead to many more like it commissioned at different west coast furniture shows or from my web site exposure.
